NB These sessions are closed to the public but families are welcome to invite friends and family to join them.

LOW SENSORY SESSION
Where- Awesome Bounce in Porirua
When – Tuesday evenings from 6:30pm – 8:30pm
Cost $10 per family
Activities: Slides, Trampolines, indoor playground (bouncy castles are deflated to reduce noise until 8:00pm – 8:30pm)
BRICK CLUB
Where – Awesome Bounce in Porirua
When – Tuesday nights from 6:30pm – 8:00pm
Cost – $5 Activity Fee per child (This is in addition to the $10 entry fee per family to the 2hr Sensory Session)
Facilitated by Dan Mulholland from Brick Engaged. Dan looks to facilitate fun, meaningful social interactions, learning and support for neurodivergent people through building with Lego in a safe and inclusive environment.1

HIGH SENSORY SESSION
Where – Awesome Bounce in Porirua
When – Thursday evenings from 6:30pm – 8:30pm
Cost $10 per family
Activities include, Bouncy Castles (Multiple), Slides, Rock Climbing and trampolines.
MUSIC THERAPY ‘TASTER’ SESSION
Where – Awesome Bounce in Porirua
When – Thursday nights from 6:30pm – 8:00pm
Cost – $5 Activity Fee per child. (This is in addition to the $10 entry fee per family to the 2hr Sensory Session)
Facilitated by Little Music Caravan. ‘Taster’ sessions are one on one with a Registered Music Therapist and held in a party room at Awesome Bounce, as part of the “High Sensory Session’. Bookings are for 30mins. For more information contact emily@littlemusicalcaravan.co.nz

‘Sensory Haircut Open Day’
Where – Aspects of Hair, Lakeside Centre, Whitby, Porirua.
When – Monday 7th August 2023 (9-2:30pm)
Cost – Complimentary Hair Cut (Normal prices $30 for a child, $35 for a teenager and $40 for an adult.
This is a perfect opportunity to visit a hair saloon and give getting a haircut a go in an environment that is welcoming and accepting. Gemma and Larissa from Aspects of Hair in Whitby have a lot of experience working with people who have sensory and extra and special needs so it’s the perfect combination to give it a go.
